The Story of Chalet Renne
The Chalet Renne, which translates to Reindeer Chalet, was built in 2011 by a French family who made a beautiful home with many modern comforts. Features like soaring ceilings, large windows and a bright, open-plan great room. A unique furniture set was selected to match the house and to make comfort a top priority.
With artistic design details woven throughout the house in reclaimed wood and overlooking a scintillating, mineral rich lake, Chalet Renne is the ideal place to deepen a connection with the unceded Anishinabewaki and Omàmìwininìwag (Algonquin) lands north of Montreal.
Laid out over three levels, this four-bedroom luxury chalet has space for up to eight guests sharing bedrooms + three more sharing the basement relax room. This location is for people who love to swim in a quiet lake, go on a hike in a neighbouring provincial park, ski, snowshoe, bike, and soak up the four Canadian seasons.
Guests of Chalet Renne can immerse themselves in a health retreat with access to a private yoga room equipped with hot yoga warmers, and a completely private, outdoor hot tub, and dry sauna.

Location: 1.25 hour driving distance from central Montreal on a shared no-motorboat lake, Lac Boeuf.
Spaces: 4 bedrooms with convertible beds, 2 singles become 1 king + 1 convertible den with pull out couch to Queen bed and 2 single futon beds + 1 living room + 1 dining room + 1 outdoor dining room + 1 hot yoga room + 3 bathrooms + 3 showers + 1 soaker tub + 1 4-person dry sauna + 1 4-person hot tub.

A 250$ cleaning fee is charged for every stay
Terms & Rules
It is highly recommended to carefully read these Terms. We require all our retreat leaders to acknowledge our booking policies to lock in their retreat date.

General booking conditions
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
Deposit of 50% of the value of the reservation required on booking. The balance will be taken 14 days prior to arrival.
Minimum 2 night’s stay for retreats.
A final cleaning fee is charged for every stay of $250. We reserve the right to invoice you a higher amount if cleaning is in excess of normal use.
Deposit policy
A security deposit of $ 1000 is also required 14 days prior to arrival.
The deposit will be refunded within 5 working days following the inspection of the property after the departure of the guest. In the event of non-reimbursement of the security deposit for damages, the client will be notified as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, we require written notice 30 days before the retreat date for an 80% refund. 20% is held for the retreat planning services you receive.
A refund of 50% for cancellations made if you need to cancel 14 days before the retreat date.
Please note that there is no refund for cancellations made within 14 days prior to the retreat date. Some restrictions may apply depending on the time of year.
Modification policy
Any other modification may result in additional charges. In case of early departure, the amount of the full stay will be charged. There will be no refund.
No shows policy
No shows are regarded as a cancellation. The reservation will be cancelled without reimbursement.

1) No parties or large group events allowed: If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning or/and damages, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning and damages charges. GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND.
2) Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. If guests are suspected, the authorities will be called, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND.
3) No damaging shoes within the house. Treat it like your own home.
4) No unregistered guests are allowed on the property unless authorized.
5) We greatly appreciate your cooperation in closing all windows & doors and please make sure all lights are turned off when you leave the property.
6) All dishes must be clean upon checkout: If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
7) We also appreciate if you take out your trash (garbage, recycling and composting) in the appropriate bins upon check-out.
8) No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
9) No smoking in or close to the premises: Extra cleaning fees to remove odour and stains may be applied.
10) Noise curfew: Quiet time is from 11pm-6am.
11) Dogs allowed: Dogs are only allowed in the entranceway and hairs found on furniture will be a cleaning fine of min. $100. Extra cleaning fees may be applied. (Maximum: 2 dogs allowed)
12) Any damage made to property or furnishings wich exceeds the security deposit amount will be billed to the guest.
13) The minimum age requirement to rent the property is 25.
14) ID should be provided at booking and retreat leaders should provide confirmation they have checked the ID of all their guests.

2024 Rates & Arrival Times for Retreats

All rates are nightly rates with a 2-night minimum stay required. Quebec taxes and a $300 cleaning fee will be applied to the base rates.
Check-in time: 4 pm
Check-out time: 11 am
For early arrival request or late check-out, please arrange this with us. We often accommodate our retreats leaders earlier and later stays for setup and breakdown.

Aug 18-Oct 20: $2000 /night + tx
Jan 7-Mar 1, Mar 24-June 16, Oct 20-Dec 19: $1500 /night + tx

$50-150 per person per meal for catering services. Speak with us about your food budget and we will work with you.
$500-$1000 for hosted activities such as sound journey, guided health and fitness, and facilitated meetings.
$300-$600 transportation service per 5 passenger vehicle
