Morphing into a Butterfly with Sara Gallagher Bloom

It’s 5:50AM and the alarm buzzes softly to wake me up.

This time I wake up and pull myself out of bed and head downstairs to my meditation space.

I turn on my phone, click on the link, and I am instantly transported out of greyish darkness into Sara’s light filled world.

Every season, since I met Sara over 1 year ago on a crisp spring day, I take her 40 day meditation program called The Imprint. For 22 minutes I breathe, move and chant my way into inner peace.

I love the feeling I get following each session - whether I show up at 6AM live or do it on my own at 6PM. Sara is there in the back of my mind all day calling to me on unseen levels.

I hear her guiding me with gentle words while I tackle my work day.

“Welcome Mya, please go ahead and put yourself in a tall seat and begin to presence yourself as you rub your hands together. Presence yourself in your intentions, presence yourself in how you want to direct your energy, and then plug your prayers deep into the fertility of your heart, the fertile grounds and draw a deep breath in… pause at the top of your inhalation as if you could bathe every cell of your body in your intentions… And exhale, tuning into the universal wisdom to the wisdom of teachers past present and future and to the deep wisdom in each of us... inhale.”

Sara has witnessed and catalyzed the metamorphosis of Ralia Retreats from a good idea to a lively reality. Her partnership with us has been a large part of our success.

Metamorphosis is Sara’s genius!

She guides transformations with ease. True to her essence, her new wellness space in Montreal was named Morpho Blue after the gorgeous Blue Morpho butterfly found in Central and South America.

Sara is a teacher leader, a yoga teacher, a mom, and of course a meditation teacher who is empowering people to meditate in community through an impactful 40 day routine.

Ever since she was a young child she was drawn to health and wellness. She found yoga in her teens. Yoga gave Sara an infrastructure to start to see the world and feel whole.

Inspired by the intangible gifts of yoga, she started creating tangible transformational spaces for people to move and grow in.

For close to 20 years Sara has been curating spaces of metamorphosis.

With the pandemic fully upon us in 2020, Sara closed her yoga studio (for a moment) and paused. It was during this global deep breath that she created her signature online meditation program, The Imprint.

The Imprint is one of the top recommendations for retreat preparation by the team at Ralia Retreats. Her program of 40 days of breath work and meditation are the perfect catalyst to transformation.

1 year into meeting Sara and experiencing 4 seasons of The Imprint I had a synchronistic moment. I was opening up the Joy of Life Costa Rica retreat to be experienced by a select few deserving people and Sara already had a plane ticket to be in Costa Rica and a desire to retreat while she dreamed up the next versions of her offerings. I invited Sara to experience a Joy of Life Costa Rica Retreat at a time when she was asking for space, time, and nourishing moments... Upon return here is what she said:

Sara’s journey of creating spaces of metamorphosis is ongoing and we are ecstatic to be part of the process.

Because… change is not easy. We need to literally re-wire our brain to think, experience, and react in a whole new way. Dr. Joe Dispenza, a famous brain researcher, shares in his wisdom, that in order to change and grow in a direction we want to grow we must get very present to our thoughts and automatic actions.

Sara is a guide to presence and transformation through presence which opens the doors to butterfly metamorphoses. We encourage you to follow Sara’s offerings as she facilitates new ways of thinking and being present. And, look out for future collaborations between Sara Gallagher-Bloom x Ralia Retreats!
